Custom web application development

Web application development company for portals and SaaS

DevoraTech is a web application development company in Tangier, Morocco, working with businesses worldwide in English and French. We design and build web applications that people sign in to: client portals, SaaS products, internal tools and dashboards, connected to the services you already pay for. You get a written scope, the design of each screen, the application, its integrations and a handover, with the code and the accounts in your name.

A web application runs in the browser of a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install, and each user sees what their role allows. We build the server side in Laravel and fast, app-like screens in Next.js; our Laravel development company page explains that framework in detail. Sites made mostly of pages that your team edits belong to our work as a custom web development company.

Part ofWebsite development

  • Laravel and Next.js
  • Connected to your tools by API
  • Code and accounts in your name

For whom

Who it is for

  • A business that wants its clients to sign in and follow their orders, files or invoices

  • A founder who wants to launch a SaaS product with paying subscribers

  • A team whose daily work runs on spreadsheets, email and copied data

  • A company whose website, store and back office need to share data

What we build

What we build

  1. Client portals

A private area where each client sees their orders, documents, invoices or project status, and sends requests to your team.

  2. SaaS products

An application sold by subscription, with sign-up, plans, payments and one space per customer company, each customer's data kept apart.

  3. Internal tools

The forms, lists, approval steps and dashboards your team uses every day, on one database.

  4. Dashboards and reports

Figures from your sales, stock or projects on one screen, updated from the tools where the data lives.

  5. Integrations

Links to payment, delivery, email and messaging services, and to booking, signature or survey tools when they offer an API, described in the section on API integration services below.

What we fix

What a custom web application fixes

  1. Your tools do not talk to each other

Each subscription holds part of your data, and someone copies it from one tool to the next every week. A custom web application takes over the part no tool covers and exchanges data with the others through their APIs.

  2. A subscription tool almost fits

It covers most of your process, but the missing steps live in side files and workarounds, and the bill grows with every user you add. With your own application, the steps follow your process and a new user adds no licence fee. Hosting and paid services remain, and we list them in the quote.

  3. Your product idea needs accounts, plans and payments

A SaaS product needs sign-up, subscription plans, invoices, roles inside each customer company, and data that never mixes between customers. We build these foundations first, so the features you sell can rely on them.

  4. The same client exists in five places

Your client list, your invoices and three spreadsheets each hold a different phone number for the same client. An application with one database, and syncs where another tool must keep its copy, gives each record one place where it changes.

What you get

What our web application development services include

Request a quote
  1. Discovery and written scope

Users and roles, screens, rules, data and integrations, written down with you and approved before any code, with the quote and the schedule.

  2. Screen design

Wireframes, then designs of the main screens on phone and computer. For an internal tool, the screens follow the tasks people repeat each day, with as few clicks as possible.

  3. Accounts and roles

Sign-in, password reset, roles and permissions. For a SaaS product, one space per customer company with its own users, and plans that open or close features.

  4. Application build

The server side in Laravel, the screens in Laravel or Next.js depending on the interface, a database designed around your records, and the emails and notifications each step sends.

  5. API integrations

Connections to the services your process depends on, each one tested with real cases and logged, so a failed exchange shows up and reaches a person.

  6. Checks and security

Each feature tried on a test address with your own cases. For security, access limited by role, secret keys kept out of the code, and database backups set up with the hosting.

  7. Launch and handover

The application on a server opened in your name, the code in a Git repository in your name, and a session for your team on the admin screens. New features and updates after launch follow our website maintenance services.

Platforms

API integration services: the tools your app talks to

Most web applications exchange data with other services. Our API integration services connect your application, site or store to the tools below, through their official APIs, with the accounts opened in your name. When a service offers no API, the written scope says so and proposes another route, such as a scheduled file import.

  1. Payments

Card payments, subscriptions and refunds through the payment provider you choose, with each payment confirmed in the application by the provider's own notification.

  2. Delivery

Shipping labels, tracking numbers and delivery status from the carriers you work with, when they offer an API.

  3. Booking, signature and survey tools

Other services your process depends on, such as booking, e-signature or survey tools, connected when they offer a documented API, with each field mapped once and every exchange logged.

  4. A CRM built for you

When your team needs a CRM, we build it into the application or as its own tool, with your stages and your fields. Our page on custom CRM development explains that work.

  5. Email and messaging

Transactional emails through a sending service, with your domain set up so they reach the inbox. Answers on your site or WhatsApp are the work of our AI chatbot development service.

  6. Calendars, maps and files

Availability read from Google or Microsoft calendars, addresses shown on a map, and documents kept in cloud storage opened in your name.

Process

How a web application project runs

  1. 1. Call and brief

How your process works today, who will use the application and the tools it must connect to. Bring examples: spreadsheets, forms, screenshots of the tools you use.

  2. 2. Written scope and quote

Users, roles, screens, rules and integrations, with the schedule. We mark what goes into a first version, the smallest set of features your users can work with, and what follows.

  3. 3. Screens and data

Wireframes, then designs and the data model, approved by you before the build.

  4. 4. Build in stages

Feature by feature on a test address. You try each stage with real cases and send your comments.

  5. 5. Launch of the first version

Your existing data imported when the scope includes it, integrations switched from test to live accounts, then the application opens to its first users.

  6. 6. Handover and next stages

A session for your team, the code and accounts in your name, then the next features and the maintenance we agreed on.

Questions

Web application development company: your questions

How much does a web application cost?

It depends on the users and roles, the number of screens, the rules to write and the integrations, and on what goes into the first version. Request a quote and you receive a written quote that lists each part, with a schedule. Running costs such as hosting, paid APIs and email sending are listed separately and paid on accounts in your name.

Build a web application or use a ready-made SaaS tool?

Use a ready-made tool when it covers your process and its price per user stays reasonable as you grow. Build when the missing steps cost hours every week, when the software is your product, or when several tools must share data in a way none of them offers. We tell you which case you are in during the first call, and a custom build can start beside the tools you keep.

Which technologies do you use for web applications?

Laravel and PHP on the server, with a MySQL or PostgreSQL database, and Next.js for screens that must react instantly. Both are open source and publicly documented, so another developer can pick up the code later. We name the stack in the written scope, with the reasons for each choice.

Can the application connect to the tools we already use?

Yes, when those tools offer an API, as most payment, delivery and email services do. Before the quote we check each API, its limits and the subscription plan it requires, since some software opens its API only on higher plans. Every integration is tested with real cases and logged once live.

Will it work on phones, or do we need a mobile app?

A web application works in the browser of any phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install, and we design the screens for phones first when your users are on the move. A mobile app makes sense when you want it in the App Store and Google Play or need it to work without a connection; our mobile app development company page covers that. Both can share the same server and API.

How does working with you from abroad work?

We build web applications for clients worldwide by video call, email and WhatsApp, in English or French, with screens in French, English or Spanish, and you try each stage on a test address before anything goes live. Tangier is on GMT all year: the same time as London in winter, one hour behind Paris and Madrid in winter and two hours behind in summer. Your accepted quote is our agreement, and a short contract or an NDA is added when you ask, signed by email.
